Blackbelt in Writing with Aiki Flinthart
What do you want from your writing? A multi-book career? A hobby? There are no right answers but your goals affect what you write, how well you wrangle the words, who you write for, who you learn from, your marketing plans, and a host of other career decisions. Knowing the answers now will save you time and energy.
Aiki Flinthart is a well-known and well-loved genre writer. She has published 13 novels including the Kalima Chronicles, the Ruadhan Sidhe Urban Fantasy series, and the 80AD series. She’s also written two non-fiction books and several short stories. Her workshops and tutorials are firm favourites with Queensland Writers Centre members.
In her Blackbelt in Writing, Aiki shares her life lessons and passions. She explains how things she’s learned from martial arts training are applicable to writing. She writes about determination, strength, respect, collaboration, adaptability, and facing the inner darkness. Her writing tips and motivation will help all writers develop their craft.
Thanks to Aiki Flinthart’s generous donation, all proceeds from purchases of this course will go towards funding Queensland Writers Centre’s The Flinthart writing residency program. Find out more about The Flinthart.
